ABOUT ME

My name is Haley Spaulding. I am currently senior studying Apparel Design and Merchandising with a minor in Communications at Appalachian State University. I became obsessed fashion at the ripe age of 6 after watching the cinematic masterpiece The Devil Wears Prada. 
In high school I tried my hand at modeling which was fun, but I quickly realized I wanted to be the one in charge of the trends going down the runway, not just wearing them. 
I took all the sewing classes and fashion related courses I could in High School, after I graduated I headed up the mountain to Appalachian State University where I've spent the past 4 Years mastering sewing techniques and learning the in's and out's of the fashion industry. I even spent a summer abroad in Paris, France where I learned couture techniques and the history of the fashion capital of the world. 
I am currently at home outside Charlotte, North Carolina finishing up my last few classes online so I can graduate in August and begin job hunting.
